Social Science
Academic Programs
Social Science is part of the the Department of Social Science and Commerce and offers courses in Politics, Sociology and Anthropology, History, Economics, Business, Accounting and Environment Studies. These courses will teach skills and knowledge and instill in graduates attitudes which promote a sense of national purpose and citizenship which are necessary for productive participation in a modern nation. Opportunities are available for students to major or minor in either Social Science or Commerce. A minor can also be pursued in another department.
Currently the section has a total staff strength of (7) seven fulltime positions and two (2) part time positions.
