THE   FACULTY   OF   HUMANITIES

Foreword.

The Humanities Faculty is one of three faculties that comprises the academic component of the University of Goroka. The faculty is further comprised of three academic departments and two sections. The Commerce section is part of the department of Social Science and Commerce while Religious Education section comes under the Expressive Arts and Religious Education department. Language and Literature is the third academic department in the faculty.

Students enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities are admitted into any of these five academic programs; namely Social Science, Commerce, Language & Literature, Expressive Arts and Religious Education. Once admitted into these programs students are required to pursue a major in any of these programs.

The Faculty is committed to its aim of producing quality graduates in the fields of Social Sciences, Language, Literature, Expressive Arts, Commerce and Religious Education.

The Faculty hereby wishes you, both continuing and prospective students every success during the time you make this faculty your academic home.
