Biography

Lynne received her Master of Learning Innovation, majoring in the field of Guidance & Counselling at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2007.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Education, specializing in Educational Psychology from the University of Goroka (UOG) in 2002. In 1985, Lynne graduated with a Diploma in Secondary Teaching from the University of Papua New Guinea.

Prior to joining UOG in 2003 as a tutor, she taught in PNG Secondary Schools for 16 years. Currently she is training counsellors to be providers of Guidance & Counselling services in schools, organizations, and communities. She is also the Acting Head of the Division of Teaching & Learning with the School of Education.

Research Interest/Background 

Lynne is interested in the provision of Guidance and Psychological services in PNG schools and its impact on the behaviour of students
