Biography

Kuriya N.Kiap recently completed his second honours degree at the School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Goroka and now works in the School of Distance & Flexible Learning. He did his undergraduate degree and eventually and his first honours degree from the University of Papua New Guinea before joining University of Goroka. The supervisors of his thesis were, Dr. Mario Daoust and Dr Agyamen. Both supervised his thesis on anomalies in climatic patterns experienced in five mainland provinces in PNG.

Research Interest

My first honours thesis in The Honours thesis is on “Recent Regional Climatic variability at Selected Weather Sites    in Mainland Papua New Guinea..". Specializes in the fields of Climatology.    
                           
My second honours degree in Bachelor of Education Honours (BEd.,Hons), at UOG. Awarded, 2015. My Honours        thesis is titled: "An Investigation into the Quality of Geography assessment Tasks set by Upper Secondary School        Teachers: A Case Study of Two Secondary Schools in Simbu Province of Papua New Guinea”.
