Biography

Eric Messimato completed his Applied Science studies at the Lae Technical College (Now National Polytechnic Institute of PNG) in 2009. He joined the University of Goroka in 2011 as the Agriculture Laboratory Technical Officer with the Division of Agriculture & Rural Development in the School of Science & Technology.

His duty involves facilitating laboratory practical and field sampling for undergraduate and post graduate students in the area of agriculture science.

He also involves with staff on scientific research work. His recent research assistance with Hefung Hati on the Estimation of Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) using Loss-On Ignition (LOI) method under different land use systems in East New Britain volcanic soils were analyzed, documented and presented in PNG Research, Science & Technology Conference and published in journal of ICPNG.
