He received his BSc degree in Botany (major) and Chemistry and Zoology (minors), and BEd degree in Natural Science from the University of Kerala. He acquired his MSc degree in Botany from the Annammalai University in India. Currently he has been registered to pursue his PhD in plant tissue culture and micro propagation in the Bharathiar University in India. His teaching career stretches from India to seven years of teaching in the upper secondary schools in the Solomon Islands and another seven years of teaching in Vanuatu. In his spells of teaching profession he had held teaching positions in International Schools in India, Head of Division and Dean of Foundation Studies for extension courses offered by Emalus Campus of the University of South Pacific in Vanuatu. In the meantime he has contributed extensively to the Ministry of Education in the Solomon Island and Vanuatu to write examinations, develop courses and authored course materials for the schools. He has also co-authored a reference book in biology in the Ministry of Education, Honiara in Solomon Islands under the Science and Agriculture Project funded by the Australian Agency for the International Development (AusAID). Currently he is serving as a Lecturer and Acting HOD of Biological Sciences, in the School of Science & Technology in the University of Goroka in Papua New Guinea.
