Biography

Ronald Aknonero is currently doing his MSc studies in the School of Science and Technology at the University of Goroka, and is a part time chemistry tutor. He did his under graduate degree at the University of Papua New Guinea eventually a BSc degree with Honours from the University of Goroka. As part of the Honours work under the mentorship of Dr Pooranalingham Jeyarathan, the nutritional profile of edible mushrooms from the Highlands of PNG were analysed and documented and the publication was made in the Journal of Post Graduate Studies at the University of Goroka. His MSc work is currently under the mentorship of Stewart Wossa and focuses on the ethnological documentation and nutritional profile of native pandanus in PNG.
The study includes work towards amino acids and fatty acids analyses.
