Completed a four year degree program in Food Technology and graduated with a Degree with merit in 2002. Final year project was based on the action of lactic acid bacteria in fermentation of “Sapal” from Taro (Colocasia esculenta L.Scott). Project was based on a PhD thesis and supervised by Dr. Ragg Gubag.

Was hired in 2002 as Quality Assurance Manager for Globe Manufacturing Ltd (formerly, James Barnes PNG ltd). In 2005, promoted to Assistant Operations & Quality Assurance Manager. In 2007, participated in the amendment of the PNG Foods Regulations (2007). Was a key player in the certification of Globe as a minimum risk importer by the government of Fiji and paved way for PNG Made Products to export to Fiji in 2005.

In 2011, Tenured as Abattoir Manager for Ramu Agri Industries. Achieved first record profits in sales for 2011 and consecutively 2012, 2013.
